In Formever every quantity is an amount of some type. This is true of businesses in general. They deal with quantities of weight, volume, area, linear measures, currency etc. In Formever when a quantity field is defined its type has to be specified:
- Currency – default quantity using the home currency of the system
- Unit – either dimensional (weight, length, area, volume, energy, temperature, duration) or dimensionless (various counts)
- Rate – currency/unit.
