Entity

In Formever an Entity Master Form is used to represent things in the business that continue across accounting periods and have unique identifiers.

An Entity form is one of two types of forms, the other form type being a Transaction form.  Only an Entity form can be flagged as a General Ledger Account form.

You could think of Entities as nouns (i.e. names of things) whereas Transactions are verbs (i.e. operations)

Examples:

  • Employee
  • General Ledger Account
  • Client
  • Vendor
